If you already live in Maple Lawn, you know the shorthand. Coffee at the market, a walk around the block, dinner somewhere on Maple Lawn Boulevard, home before the fireworks the kids talked you into. What has quietly changed in the last two years is how much of that day can happen without moving the car. The restaurant roster has thickened at the upper end, the medical and retail footprint keeps growing on the west side of the boulevard, and a Flash bus stop is coming this summer. The Saturday loop is longer than it used to be.

Start where the market is
The Maplelawn Farmers Market runs Saturdays from May through November in the same lot it has used for the last few seasons, next to Ananda Restaurant at 7405 Maple Lawn Boulevard.
